Dakota Fanning

This is the September issue of Dazed and Confused magazine. I love their choice of Dakota Fanning as a cover girl. She seems to have gone from awkward geeky child star, to blossoming princess of the red carpet in next-to-no time!

Who ever is working with Dakota in the style department is doing a fabulous job. She always looks amazing. They always put her in gorgeous party-style dresses, but they are perfect for her age, they don’t make her look too old or too young. She looks like a prom queen… In a good way, obviously.

Here are some of my favourite Dakota looks from recent times.

She does like to wear a lot of nude shade dresses. They suit her, and so far they have all looked lovely, but it could start to get a bit predictable. But not like 'Julia Roberts wears black' predictable... I hope.

My favourite look is the white Marchesa at the CFDA awards earlier this year. Minus the black peep toes, which feel a bit heavy for such a heavenly dress. I love the angelic headband though, its the cherry on top of the fantastically turned out cake.
