If you’re an avid reader of fashion/ style blogs, you will no doubt be aware of these two girls that everyone is labeling ‘Ones To Watch’, myself included.
Jennifer Lawrence and Hailee Steinfeld are rising stars in the acting world, with both girls being nominated for a whole host of awards this season including Golden Globes, Screen Actors Guilds, Critics Choices, and OSCARs. Jennifer is in the running for awards for Best Actress in a Leading Role after her turn in Winter’s Bone, whilst Hailee is nominated in the category of Best Actress in a Supporting Role for her part in True Grit.
As newcomers to the red carpet game, they would be forgiven for making a few wrong turns, but both have put their best fashion foot forward. They continue to be up there with the actresses I’m looking out for as I flick through the pictures of awards show’s red carpets (along with Mila Kunis, Natalie Portman, the Glee girls and January Jones).
It’s hard to believe that Hailee is just14! Along with Elle Fanning, she is proving to Hollywood starlets that you don’t have to dress slutty to get noticed (Miley and Taylor Momsen take note). With the likes of Prada, Marc Jacobs, Stella McCartney, Chloé, Marchesa and Prabal Gurung already clamoring to dress the lucky young actress, who knows how far her fashion star will rise.
I can’t wait to see what bother girls will be wearing at the OSCARs, but in the meantime here are some images of the girls most recent outings…
