What a lovely way to start the day. The gorgeous Miss Olivia Palermo has been photographed at the private screening of Showtime’s newest offering, The Big C, held at Donna Karan’s New York home.
I love, love, LOVE Olivia’s look here. It is so perfect for the occasion, understated and casual but chic enough for an event with fashion types. Perfect for the season too, brights and florals, how else do you declare summer in an outfit?
The tan is perfection also, not overly orange like some people I could mention. It looks healthy, not fake (she’s glowing, not day-glo!) Light, natural looking make up complements the look, with fluttery lashes and subtly winged liner the only definition.
I love the cold-shoulder top. It would be perfect for someone like me who loves breezier tops in the summer, but hates showing the tops of their arms, as the dropped half of the sleeves on this covers up the worst part of the arm. Not, of course, that Miss Palermo has anything like that to worry about.
This girl can really accessorize! A dark tan Hermes clutch, French Sole ballet pumps, chunky bangle and statement ring may sound a bit much in one sentence. But, as you can see from the picture, they all just work.
Of course I’m going to mention the hair! So long. So glossy. So bouncy. So healthy looking. So perfectly lightly curled. Olivia is my current hair-spiration. I much prefer this chocolate shade to the blonde she sported not so long ago.
