Amanda Seyfried is on the cover of Interview and Marie Claire UK this month (so far) in promotion of her new film, Red Riding Hood. The film, as you may have guessed, is Catherine ‘Twilight’ Hardwicke’s reinterpretation of the Brothers Grimm tale of Little Red Riding Hood. If you weren’t a fan of Twilight, please don’t let that put you off, because this film looks like it’s going to be pretty good. And with eye candy in the shape of Amanda and Shiloh Fernandez (who was in the running to play Edward in Twilight and, in my opinion, would have been far better suited to the role that RPatz) it could be quite a good date night movie. I’m pretty sure it won’t be groundbreaking, or nominated for a Best Film Oscar next year, but what’s wrong with a little bit of light entertainment to take you away from the dull winter days?
On another note, if you haven’t already, I’d thoroughly recommend checking out Catherine Hardwicke’s directorial debut, Thirteen.
